ACADEMIC ADVISING

A variety of academic services are available through the Mānoa Advising Center (MAC). MAC provides basic advising, referral support, and registration guidance for incoming freshmen and first-semester transfer students.

FINANCIAL AID & SCHOLARSHIPS

How to Apply:
Financial aid processing begins by completing the U.S. Department of Education’s FAFSA: Start the FAFSA →

When to Apply:

Check current FAFSA availability and deadlines: FAFSA Deadlines →

Be sure to file on time to ensure full consideration. Many students apply early (even before written acceptance) using the prior year’s tax info, so funding can be processed sooner.

To complete the FAFSA you may need:

  • A copy of your federal tax return (1040 / 1040A / 1040EZ or current equivalent)
  • Your state or local income tax return (if applicable)
  • School name(s) and/or federal school code(s)
  • Driver’s license number (if any)
  • U.S. permanent resident number (if not a U.S. citizen)

Repairing / Renewing Financial Aid Eligibility
