Warrior Recreation Center Policies
Entry Requirements
- You must use your OWN ID to scan into the facility. The use of another individual’s ID will result in a temporary ban from the WRC until a meeting is held with WRC Staff regarding the situation.
- No Skateboards, scooters, bikes, rollerblades, strollers, cleats, pets, food, etc. allowed in the Warrior Recreation Center (WRC)
- The WRC is not responsible for lost or stolen belongings.
- Present front desk with:
- Proper University of Hawaii identification with validation, membership card, or guest pass
- Transcripts, proof of tuition, MyUH, Laulima, etc. are not accepted
- Proper athletic attire is required
- Workout towel at least 12″ by 12″
- Buttons, zippers, belts, buckles and rivets of any kind are prohibited
- Attire must be clean and in good condition
- Shoes must completely enclose the entire foot
- Nonmarking shoes only
- Tank tops, T-shirts, longsleeve shirts, and jackets are allowed provided that they adequately cover body and meet dress code requirements
- Muscle tank tops, midriff are prohibited
- Spandex, shorts and pants are allowed provided that they adequately cover body and meet dress code requirements
- Non-glass, sealable containers are permitted in the WRC
Buddy Pass Policy
Those with access to the Warrior Recreation Center (WRC) can sponsor a guest using the buddy pass:
- Daily or weekly buddy passes are available for purchase.
- Sponsors purchasing a buddy pass are limited to ONE guest per buddy pass.
- Guests will NOT be allowed to change their original sponsor written on their assigned WRC paper pass.
- The sponsor must be present with the buddy at all times when entering and using the facility. The sponsor may not leave the facility without the buddy!
- Guests must present a valid photo ID (driver’s license, state ID, passport, etc.) during purchase and when entering the facility. THIS DOES NOT INCLUDE HIGH SCHOOL ID’s!
- Guests must be at least 16 years old to use the facility, and anyone under the age of 18 years old are required to attain a signature from a parent/guardian on their membership form.
