Recreation Membership
Recreation Memberships are available to eligible members of the UH community, as outlined below.
Current FALL/SPRING Mandatory Fee-Paying UH Mānoa Students
are provided access to our facilities without additional cost.

Recreation Membership IDs are purchased only if the applicant does not qualify for a UH Manoa Student or Faculty/Staff ID. The cost of each Rec Membership ID is $10.
Recreation Membership Includes:
- Access to Open Recreation (including the WRC Facility, badminton, tennis, pickleball, and other sports offered)
- Access to Duke Kahanamoku Aquatic Complex and our rental shop (rental fees still apply)
- Participation in Intramural Sports (for Categories 1 & 2)
Guest Pass
Individuals with Recreation Memberships are allowed to sponsor one Guest per day by purchasing a one-day Guest Pass.
- The Guest Pass is $10.
- Guests are required to present a valid government photo ID (driver’s license, passport, etc.) at the time of purchase and entry. Guests must be at least 16 years of age to use the facility. Guests under 18 years of age must obtain a parent or guardian’s signature on the membership form.
- Sponsors must remain with their guest at all times while in Recreation facilities.
- The Guest Pass may be used for all Open Recreation activities, including the Warrior Recreation Center, Duke Kahanamoku Aquatic Complex, Badminton, Tennis, and Pickleball.
- The Guest Pass is not eligible to be used for Intramural sports.
Future Fee Increases
To balance affordability with long-term sustainability, membership fee increases will be phased in gradually over the next two years. Phase-in prices are illustrated below with their corresponding timeline.
