Student Organization Leaders

Mānoa’s 5 chartered student organizations offer opportunities for UHM students to engage in and help create positive student life experiences for their fellow students while personally developing through the process.

UHM students will hear and read the acronyms ASUH, CCB, GSO, SAPFB, and SMB often while around campus. For more information on what these acronyms mean, please visit our page on Chartered Student Organizations.

For now, please take some time to meet some of the dedicated student leaders who have stepped forward as volunteers to serve the campus community.

Major: Elementary Education, Special Education

Organization & Position: ASUH, Vice President of 110th Senate

What are you learning from this experience and how might this CSO leadership opportunity help prepare you for your future (graduate school and/or career)?

“Being a leader in ASUH has helped me understand the legislative process as well as how to be a better leader. I’ve learned how to stand up for others as well as to stand back and take a breath when necessary. I know so many skills will help me in the future from writing a memo to writing a speech or voting in an election.”
