Food Vault Hawai‘i – Thanksgiving Food and Toiletries Drive

HELP US REACH OUR 5,000 LBS GOAL

Thanksgiving Food & Toiletries Drive:

From the start of the fall 2022 semester up to mid-October, FVH has distributed over 5,800 pounds of food and toiletries.  This drive will help restock the pantry.

Drive Donations

FVH accepts non-perishable, unopened, unexpired food and toiletries via the Office of Student Life and Development (SLD) in Campus Center 208, Monday through Friday, 8am-4:30pm, except on recognized state holidays. Suggested items are:

• Canned Meats (spam, chicken, tuna, salmon, corned beef, vienna sausage)
• Canned Beans (garbanzo, black, kidney, pork and beans, refried beans)
• Canned Vegetables/fruits
• Canned Meals (stew, spaghetti, chili, chowder)
• Canned Soups (chicken noodle soup, vegetable broth, chicken broth, bone broth)
• Packaged Pasta (spinach, wheat, etc.)
• Tomato Sauce, Meat Sauces
• 2-5 lbs Bags of Rice
• Cup Noodles/Instant Noodles/Saimin/Ramen
• Mac n Cheese (ready to make)
• Peanut Butter
• Jelly, Jam, Honey
• Dried Beans, Lentils
• Mini Boxes of Cereal
• Granola, Oatmeal
• Nuts (almonds, peanuts, etc.)
• Toiletries (individually wrapped toilet paper, toothpaste, toothbrush, dental floss, shampoo, conditioner, body soap, deodorant, razors, pads, tampons)

FVH does not accept cash donations. While we appreciate your generosity, please do not send cash. Please support FVH by donating food or toiletries. If you prefer to make a monetary donation, please do so through the University of Hawaiʻi Foundation.
