Kelly Nishimura is the Marketing Specialist for the Office of the Vice Provost for Student Success (OVPSS), where she leads strategic efforts to promote Student Success programs and initiatives across the UH Mānoa campus.
Kelly has over twenty years of experience and has a strong background in business and marketing with skills in communications, brand development, and community engagement—expertise she applies to advancing the visibility and impact of Student Success initiatives. Kelly earned a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration with a concentration in Information Systems from the University of Washington, Seattle.
Kelly has been with the University of Hawaiʻi at Mānoa since 2023 and joined the Mānoa Staff Senate in Fall 2025. Outside of work, she enjoys daily morning workouts with her gym buddies, singing karaoke, and spending time with her husband and three keiki.
