Carl is the Systems Administrator for the College of Tropical Agriculture and Human Resources. He has worked in the University of Hawai‘i system for twenty-three years, eleven years in Hilo, and twelve years here at the Mānoa Campus. With over thirty years of information technology experience, Carl brings to the table excellent customer service skills and the ability to listen to the needs of his clients. As a member of the Mānoa Staff Senate, he serves as the Past-Chair and has served as Chair and Vice-Chair on the executive board, served on the communications elections, and shared governance committees. Carl believes in the ability to listen to the needs and concerns of all staff as a guiding principle for any decision-making on the Mānoa Staff Senate.
