The UH Mānoa Staff Senate (MSS) has teamed with the Blood Bank of Hawaiʻi to sponsor a blood drive on Friday, October 27.

The Blood Bank of Hawaii was founded in 1941 and included mobile units that responded to the needs of Hawaii’s citizens during WWII. Each pint of blood collected can help save up to three lives and will touch the lives of so many more.

Since MSS was officially approved in 2019, they have been working with the Blood Bank of Hawaii to sponsor these events.  What a great way to pay it forward and make an impact on people in our community and across the islands. We are very excited about the drive, and I hope you are, too.

You can help in many ways, but most importantly, we hope you come out to donate.  Carol Oshiro, Joseph Peters, and Nōweo Kai have signed up and look forward to seeing you on October 27th in the Executive Dining Room at Campus Center – 2nd Floor, enter through the Campus Center Food Court.
