Sharon Fawcett retired from her position as the Assistant Archivist for the Office of Presidential Libraries in the National Archives and Records Administration. She began her career as an archivist at the LBJ Library in Austin, TX, in 1969 and moved to Washington, D.C., in 1978 to work at the National Archives.
