A concert honoring the music of Queen Liliʻuokalani and her siblings, known as Nā Lani ʻEha, or the Heavenly Four. Featuring Walea and special guest artists Alan Akaka, Bobby Ingano, ʻAlewa, and Isaac Woodward. Timeless mele such as “Aloha ʻOe” and “Ke Aloha O Ka Haku” will be performed on kingdom-era instruments collected by the Hawai‘i State Archives. Handwritten sheet music and other documents from Her Majesty’s personal manuscript collection will also be on display.
