Karen Ewald is Interim Executive Director of the State Foundation on Culture and the Arts (SFCA) and has been with the agency for over nine years as Director of the Art in Public Places Program and the Hawaiʻi State Art Museum. With deep experience in public arts administration, she has played a key role in advancing access to and appreciation of the arts across Hawaiʻi.
