Christopher Sabine is interim Vice Provost for Research at UH Mānoa. A Professor of Oceanography, he studies carbon cycling, ocean acidification, and climate change, and he has over 160 publications. Previously he served as director of NOAA’s Pacific Marine Environmental Laboratory.
