Brennon Morioka is the Dean of the College of Engineering at the University of Hawai’i at Mānoa. He previously served as the general manager for transportation electrification at the Hawaiian Electric Company (HECO). Before that, he served as vice president and area manager of the Honolulu office of CH2M HILL, director of the Hawaiʻi State Department of Transportation, and executive vice president of Shioi Construction. Dr. Morioka received his bachelor’s and master’s of science degrees in civil engineering from the University of California at Berkeley and completed his doctoral studies at UH Mānoa.
