SAPFB Town Hall Meetings

The Student Activity and Program Fee Board has been working diligently over the past year to update our extremely outdated operating documents. Our Charter has not been updated since 1990 and contains many typos, grammatical errors as well as some antiquated language and obsolete practices. In addition, our General Criteria has some of the same issues and also has been lacking some very important information about how and why our board functions. That document was last updated back in 1982 when SAPFB was chartered. The Board will be holding Town Hall Meetings to welcome public commentary about these proposed amendments. Please join us for our Town Hall Meetings on Wednesday October 16th 2019 in Campus Center Room 203C from 4:30pm to 6:30pm and Thursday October 17th 2019 in Hemenway Hall 211 from 4:30pm to 6:30pm. SAPFB will be using these public commentary dates to hear student concerns and public input. You can view our proposed amendments for our charter here as well as the proposed amendments for our general criteria here. If you are unable to attend our public commentary meeting, but would like to provide feedback, please send it to our email address sapfb2@hawaii.edu and in the subject line put “FEEDBACK.” All public comments, concerns and
questions are requested no later than Tuesday, October 15th, 2019
