For changes or updates to your current undergraduate primary major, minor, or subject certificate, you may submit the Undergraduate Declare/Update Major, Minor,Certificate Request form. Certain programs require additional approval from the respective Student Academic Services office.
Students must be in good academic standing in order to update their major(s). Good academic standing is defined as by maintaining a UH Mānoa cumulative grade point average of 2.0 or higher. Some colleges/schools have additional requirements to remain in good academic standing; refer to the individual college/school for further information.

- International student on a F-1 or J-1 Visa

Requests submitted and received after the last day to register will be made effective the following semester. Consult the academic calendar for deadlines.
To submit a multiple major declaration (second, third or fourth major), please contact the Undergraduate Academic Advising Services Office for the additional major(s) you wish to declare.
Course Program of Study (CPoS):
Financial Aid and/or VA Education Benefits are based on the assumption that students will enroll in eligible coursework during fall, spring, and summer semesters. The Course Program of Study (CPoS) is a process to stay in compliance with federal regulations. Financial Aid or VA Education funds can only be awarded for courses that fulfill your degree requirements. If you enroll in courses not applicable towards your degree, your aid/VA funds may not pay for those courses and may be prorated or canceled based on only the applicable coursework. If you are unsure whether a course fulfills your degree requirements, we encourage you to meet with your academic advisor. Please see the CPoS FAQs for more information.
