The Office of Public Health Studies (OPHS) is accredited as a public health program by the Council on Education for Public Health (CEPH), an independent agency recognized by the U.S. Department of Education to accredit schools and programs of public health. Our last CEPH site visit was held in September 2014, and the program received full accreditation through July 1, 2023. 

Our public health program will be having an on-site re-accreditation review by CEPH on March 30-31, 2023. CEPH welcomes written communication from third parties until 30 days before the scheduled visit. This is an opportunity for our stakeholders to submit feedback directly to CEPH about the public health program, practices and procedures. Students, alumni, faculty, staff, community partners and members of the general public are all stakeholders who may make a third-party comment during this process.
