People Power 2025 and others

The public is invited by the Hawaii Filipinos for Truth, Justice & Democracy (HFTJD) and the Center for Philippine Studies (CPS) to attend a series of events titled People Power 2025. These events are part of the 50th CPS Anniversary Celebration this year, in partnership with several organizations.

“People Power Hawaiʻi” starts on February 23, 2025, at 4:00-6:00 pm, Susannah Wesley Community Center Gymnasium (see flyer).

This is followed by two events: “Never Again” conducted by the Center for Philippine Studies on February 25, 2025, 12:30-1:30 pm, and “The Legal Framework of Human Rights in the Philippines” on February 26, 2025, 5:30-7:00 pm, Moore Hall 319 (Tokioka Room), UH Mānoa.

The last event is a Film Screening on February 27, 2025 at 5:00-7:00 pm also at Susannah Wesley Community Center Gymnasium.
