Directed by Jade Castro (Zombadings, Endo) and based on my original
story, Patawid follows Jorge and Kiko, two young men from different
worlds whose lives collide in unexpected ways, shaped by grief, legacy,
and quiet acts of love. The film also examines the history and impact of
Hawai‘i sugar workers lives on those of us in the present.

The movie had a nationwide commercial release in the Philippines
starting on June 17. This Honolulu screening is a special opportunity to
experience the full story, approximately 2 hours and 35 minutes, here in
Hawai‘i.
