February 4, 2025 | Hawaiʻi State Capitol, Capitol Auditorium for video portion 9AM-10AM, and 4th Floor for demonstrations portion 10AM-1PM

Welcome to the third annual UH Mānoa Research Day at the State Capitol where we will have informational tables, demonstrations, and interactive activities on the 4th floor of the Hawaii State Capitol Building. Our theme of the 2025 Research Day is UH Mānoa Research and Creative Works for the Wellbeing of Current and Future Generations. Connect with faculty, staff, and students to learn of the UHM-azing research taking place on and off the Mānoa campus to address some of Hawaiʻi’s most pressing issues. The University of Hawaiʻi at Mānoa is one of only 107 doctoral universities categorized among public institutions with the highest research activity (Carnegie R1 designation).

We are also consistently ranked in the top 2% in the world and the U.S. for academic and research excellence. As one of only four US universities with the simultaneous designation as a Land, Sea, Space, and Sun Grant institution, we will highlight the innovative research that leverages our unique Pacific-Asia location and our faculty expertise in strategic areas of research with local and global impact in each of these areas.
