CONSTRUCTION NOTICE

SUBJECT:
Physical Science Building Classroom 317 & 311 Renovation

CONTRACTOR:
Summit Construction, Inc.

SCOPE OF WORK:

Renovate and revitalize classrooms 311 and 317 on the third floor of the Physical Sciences Building. Demolition work includes selective demolition of various HAZMAT materials, furniture, finishes, ceiling tile, floor tile, doors, etc. New work includes but is not limited to providing new interior finishes, ceiling grid, wood features, furniture, doors, windows, signage, lighting, HVAC
systems, and miscellaneous work. Separate construction notices will be sent out regarding the aformentioned HAZMAT materials. During demolition, the Mauka stairwell and Makai stairwell will be utilized for transport of materials. Please observe and respect all signs. Note these walkways will still be available for use for EMERGENCY purposes and utilized as a means of emergency access / egress if necessary.

ASBESTOS CONTAINING MATERIAL (ACM) ABATEMENT:
Yes, 1800 SF of flooring material

ACCESSIBLE ROUTES:
No accessible routes are affected by this work.

ADVISORY:
All persons in the vicinity of this construction are advised to respect all barricades and all posted safety/detour signs. Your patience, cooperation and understanding are requested as the inconveniences inherent to repair work (noise, dust, odors and debris) are generated by this construction.
