Background:
Nalani Balutski was raised in Kahluʻu and is a graduate of the Kamehameha Schools Kapālama. In 2008 she joined Native Hawaiian Student Services as member of the Kōkua A Puni grant. Since then she has become instrumental in the creation and implementation of a number of NHSSʻ federal grants. She is currently the Research & Assessment for Hawaiʻinuiākea and works closely with the Director of NHSS as both the PI of the Kapaʻakea grant and CO-PI of the Hoapili grant.
