The Hawaiian Graduate Student Orientation (HGSO) is intended to empower new Hawaiian graduate students and improve their institutional access though networking and informational presentations. We hope to support their transition into their graduate programs and the beginning of their academic journey by:
- Welcoming new graduate students to the UH Manoa Community
- Creating a space for Hawaiian graduate students to network with their peers as well as faculty and staff from departments across campus
- Providing presentations and discussions to help new students be successful in graduate school.
