Day 4 Manaʻo for Cohort Kaulua March 20, 2025
Today has been so wonderful and wonder-full! Our team has been witnessing such beautiful stories blooming in ways that are specific to this cohort experience, so I really appreciate the ways that folks are showing up for each other—and how we are showing up for ourselves. Folks’ bravery in sharing stories has also inspired me to be a more confident speaker, even when I have my doubts!
As I have been talking with participants and noticing others’ engagements with each other, I am appreciative that together we have all cultivated a community of care (a term that I use here as inspired by one of our team members this week) that gives us the space to take care of ourselves, too. The laughs we have shared together have been incredibly healing, and all of the humor and joy that we’ve shared surely indicates that we have made connections and built pilina in genuine ways.
Our transformative and introspective journey together during this march cohort is also guided by the seasonal transitions of Piko o Wākea. During the spring equinox, we are reminded that the sun, too, is never stagnant.
