Weinstein Conversation lecture to address ethical issues in food industry

Fund manager, former securities executive and part-time Hawai‘i resident Will K. Weinstein presents, “A Will Weinstein Conversation Series 2013,” featuring notable guest speakers from Hawai‘i and the mainland this summer. The series features six lively lectures on current ethical issues and dilemmas in business, health, food, sports and law.

This year, Weinstein had added a new lecture, “Ethics in the Food Industry,” featuring Beverly Gannon, celebrated chef and restaurateur; Aaron Placourakis, president & CEO of Tri-Star Restaurant Group; and Sheldon Simeon, executive chef and a finalist on the popular Bravo TV show, “Top Chef."

The series is sponsored by the William S. Richardson School of Law and the Shidler College of Business at the UH Mānoa campus.
