Nonprofit management graduate certificate being offered

The Public Administration Program at the University of Hawai‘i at Mānoa is offering a new graduate certificate in nonprofit management beginning in Fall 2011.
The graduate certificate is intended for professionals and students interested in gaining skills to successfully and effectively participate in a variety of roles in nonprofit organizations, such as nonprofit leadership and management, grant writing and process, fundraising, volunteer and human resources management and legal and tax issues.
The certificate takes an interdisciplinary approach and includes viewpoints from public administration, business, social work, public health, and law. The certificate offers an opportunity to learn from experts in the field and provides foundational knowledge to provide a rich and unique learning experience. Certificates will be issued by the Public Administration Program.
