Lee‘s new Pacific Network is an innovative, entertaining, educational Web TV site that promotes cultural sustainability, links Hawaiian communities worldwide and broadens understanding of Hawaiian culture by promoting global cultural awareness. Nine channels are devoted to news, health, travel, sports, the arts, science and the environment.

Lee is a fifth generation Hawaiʻi-born artist and filmmaker. Her documentary films include "Papakolea — Story of Hawaiian Land," "Paniolo O Hawaiʻi — Cowboys of the Far West," "Waikiki — In the Wake of Dreams," and "The Hawaiians — Reflecting Spirit." These films were produced to provide deeper awareness of Hawaiʻi‘s culture for a national public, whose understanding of Native Hawaiians may have been shaped by stereotypes.

The Wo Learning Champions initiative focuses on professional development for faculty and staff in Hawaiʻi‘s two-year institutions. With a focus on learning and an eye on leadership development, the Wo Learning Champions program invests in junior members of the academic community, renews its senior faculty, and promotes the enrichment of all at the state‘s community colleges. The initiative was launched by Dr. Joyce Tsunoda, retired UH senior vice president and chancellor for community colleges, and is funded through the support of the Bob and Betty Wo Family Foundation and the Jim and Juanita Wo Family Foundation.
