UH Manoa Hosts Town Meeting on Building a Campus Community

The University of Hawaiʻi at Manoa has planned its next
strategic planning event, "Town and Gown Meeting of the Minds," for
Monday, December 3, at 4 p.m., at the UH Manoa Campus Center Ballroom.

A panel of students, faculty, neighborhood board members, and community representatives
will present their views on building a campus community at UH Manoa. There will
be an opportunity for comments and questions from the general public. Refreshments

Part of the "Listening Project," this event is one of several opportunities
for students, faculty, staff, and the community to participate in strategic
planning efforts for UH Manoa. Individuals are invited to attend these events,
or they can also submit written commentary through the Listening Project Survey,
which is available online and will be distributed at a variety of venues. Input
is also being solicited in a "virtual community" through e-mail correspondence
and a Listening Project bulletin board where individuals can post messages and
