Educators across Hawaiʻi are invited to participate in Kapiʻolani Community College’s seventh annual Summer Camp, a free online professional development conference taking place August 10 to 13. The four-day event features interactive online sessions that encourage collaboration, introduce new perspectives, and connect participants with subject matter experts.
“Attending the conference extends beyond the sessions themselves, allowing for a community of learners to enhance their professional skills and personal growth,” said Kapiʻolani Summer Camp Coordinator and instructional designer Jamie Sickel. “It’s a great opportunity to network with subject matter experts and colleagues from across Hawaiʻi and beyond.”
“The conference is coordinated in such a fun and professional way,” noted a previous attendee. “I love how engaged and supportive the participants are! They were eager to learn and engage with the content.”
The Kapiʻolani Summer Camp provides a range of sessions covering topics such as
- Instructional strategies
- Cultural insights
- Health and wellness
- Personal growth
Participants interested in attending are welcome to explore the 2026 Kapiʻolani Summer Camp program and register for all online sessions in real-time, which are designed for active engagement and interaction. There will be no recordings or replays available.
