WHAT: Thousands of prospective and accepted students, their ʻohana, alumni, policymakers, and community members are invited to Discover UH Mānoa, an annual open house on campus where guests can explore nearly 100 academic programs and student services, meet faculty and students, and experience campus life through free interactive activities, hands-on demonstrations, food and live entertainment.
WHEN: Saturday, November 15 from 10 a.m. – 1 p.m.
WHERE: UH Mānoa campus
(Complimentary on-campus parking. Free shuttles to campus housing tours.)
WHY: To discover how UH Mānoa delivers high-quality, affordable education and is one of the world’s top 2% universities. Attendees can see firsthand the campus that’s shaping Hawaiʻi’s future, recognized for excellence in research, innovation and impact.
HIGHLIGHTS:
- Hands-on workshops, research demos, and student projects across campus
- Live cooking demonstrations by the College of Tropical Agriculture and Human Resources featuring local ingredients (sample dishes: green onion pancakes and ʻuala dessert)
- UH Marching Band performances and meet your favorite UH athletes for photos and autographs
- Alumni Makers’ Market with locally made products and alumni-owned businesses
- Live island reggae and R&B music by Wavvy
- Food trucks, free shave ice, prizes, giveaways and UH Bookstore merchandise
- Student housing tours
ADDITIONAL INFO:
UH Mānoa continues to gain national recognition, recently climbing 62 spots in the 2026 Wall Street Journal Best Colleges rankings and setting records in research funding and philanthropy. Enrollment has reached its highest level in five years.
Registration is free and encouraged but not required.
