WHAT: The University of Hawaiʻi Maui College held its first commencement since the Maui wildfires.
WHO: About 220 of 450 graduates participated in the ceremony

OTHER FACTS:
The theme of this year’s ceremony was “resilience.”
At the end of the ceremony, students sang and danced as alumna and former Miss Hawaiʻi Sheron Lehuanani Bissen sang “This Is Me.”

About 220 University of Hawaiʻi Maui College students participated in commencement ceremonies tonight on the Great Lawn.
