All curriculum requests are reviewed by the CNS Program and Curriculum Committee (CNS PCC).

NEW PROCEDURES: Course Proposals and Modifications to Existing Programs

The university is soft launching a new software program called Modern Campus (MC) Curriculum starting Monday, August 17, 2026. Note – you have the option to submit requests via the existing method during the upcoming fall 2026 semester, but it is highly suggested that your submit course and program action proposals through MC Curriculum before its use becomes mandatory after October 15, 2026. Please work with your PCC departmental representative so they are aware of what is being submitted. Here is a link to the rollout timeline during this transitionary period.

If you were unable to attend in-person training and Q&A sessions offered by the the Catalog Office and the campus Course Action Team, training videos will be available, and there will be virtual walk-in office hours scheduled during the soft launch period. Please watch for an upcoming email from announce@hawaii.edu for a link to the resource site that will incldue training videos and access to the MC Curriculum system.
