Graduate Recital – Marcus Moore

This recital will act as a culminating event to showcase the art I have created while pursuing my master’s degree at the University of Hawaii at Manoa.

From the moment you enter the campus, music will be playing from start to finish and it will utilize three of the concert spaces located at the School of Music.

As attendees will be guided to the first location to hear three world premieres of original wind band works that will feature the Marine Corps Forces Pacific Band and musicians from the UHM Band program.

Attendees will be asked to transfer into Orvis Auditorium next and this transition will be accompanied by the sound of piano and electronic music to be performed by Aisha Hindley and Brian Bethea.

Once attendees enter Orvis, they will be presented a fiery duet of cajon and flute. Following that will be the premier of the film version of “Beige: An Afro Ballet”.
