The Art & Heritage of Filipino Song

This voice recital celebrates the 50th anniversary of the Center for Philippines Studies with a variety of songs written and arranged by Filipino composers. The concert features our very own Ian O’ Sullivan, Megumi Kurachi and Tyler Ramos alongside voice and ethnomusicology students as well as alumni of the music department. This event also premieres new works composed by Paul Gabriel Cosme and Karl Leis.

Attendees are encouraged to wear Filipino attire and join in for a post-concert reception featuring
Filipino food.
