Sogang University is the only Jesuit higher education institution in Seoul, Korea, and has strived for excellence, becoming one of the top universities in the country after opening in only 1960. It is located in Sinchon, a college town in the center of Seoul, where students are sure to have an incredible experience culturally engaging with the community, interacting with Korean students at the university, and enjoying the lively city life in Korea’s capital.
The Sogang International Summer Program (SISP) is a 4-week program for students who wish to broaden their academic experience. It is also a great opportunity to explore Korea and engage in cultural exchanges with students and faculty members from around the world. Students can combine intensive classwork with exciting field trips and various extracurricular activities alongside Sogang University students.
Students are encouraged, but not required to stay in the university’s on-campus dormitory, Gonzaga hall. Students will be placed in double-share rooms that feature 13 meals per week, which is included in their room and board fee. Rooms are equipped with two single beds, air conditioner, shower, toilet, desks, and high-speed wifi. The dormitory also includes a laundry room and fitness center for students.
