If you’d like to be in the thick of it, if study is your main objective and you are not a fan of commuting, on-campus accommodation might be right for you. Living on campus in the halls of residence will immerse you in campus life. You’ll be shoulder-to-shoulder with other exchange students, international students, and domestic students, so you’ll make friends fast. The Halls Cafe is close by and offers budget friendly food that’s also Halal certified by the Monash University mosque. Life is fun in the halls with tons of social events and activities in which you can participate, and moving in is easy because your room is already furnished when you arrive. You can also take advantage of free TV, internet, and Foxtel (pay-tv). They’ll even wash your linen for you each week.
