FUNGICULTURE! MUSHROOM Cultivation Workshop
Mushrooms provide food and medicine, and help to recycle plant nutrients back into the food web. In this comprehensive workshop you will learn the basic cultivation techniques and receive the materials to grow your own mushrooms! You will also gain a better understanding of the role of mushrooms in the cycle of life.
TOPICS TO BE COVERED: Mycology; The History of Mushroom Cultivation; Methodology; Gathering mushrooms in the wild; Laboratory set-up; Aseptic technique; isolation to pure culture; growing and harvesting.
