Jamaican Oxtail Stew, Jerk Chicken, and Rice and Peas Cooking Demonstration:

Other than Hawaiʻi, the island of Jamaica loves its Oxtail Stew. Thyme, allspice, ginger, scotch bonnet peppers and soy sauce give a much needed Jamaican-ness to this rather bland British dish. Along with learning to cook this delightful Caribbean Stew, we will make our own Jerk spice blend and grill some Jerk Chicken, served with Coconut Scented Rice and Peas.
This session comprises of an interactive cooking-demo, recipes, and food talk. So sharpen those dull knives and let’s Chop-Chop. If you so desire, bring your beverage of choice.
