Dancers representing colleges from American College Dance Association’s Western Region competed for a place in the ajudicated Gala concert for the ACDA Region this month. Annually, about 6-7 dance works are selected for the showcase out of over 150 applicants by a panel of three professional dancers/choreographers.
UHM dual major in Dance and Hawaiian Studies, Tavehi Tafiti, was selected to perform her Tahitian Dance in the Gala this March. Congratulations to Tavehi and the UHM Dance Progam.
