Lurana Donnels O’Malley

O’Malley received her PhD in Theatre History and Criticism from the University of Texas at Austin. Research interests: Russian and African American theatre. O’Malley serves as Director of Graduate Studies in Theatre and Director of Western Theatre. Recent productions: The Spitfire Grill, Churchill’s Vinegar Tom, Williams’s A Streetcar Named Desire, Friel’s Translations, and Rodgers & Hammerstein’s Oklahoma!. A native of New Orleans, she is the daughter of artist Johnny Donnels.
