House Rules – Audition Notice
Late Night Theatre Co. is looking for a director and actors for House Rules, the first production of the spring 2022 season.
Note: Actors and director will need to be available over the winter break for rehearsals.

TALIA – Female, 20’s, Filipino or BIPOC, straight
Leader of the trio, busy with finding a job to jump start her career. She doesn’t want to get caught up in relationships due to previously being scorned before in the battlefield of love. However, when a newcomer arrives in her life that sweeps her off her feet, she will have to choose between him and her closest friendship.
WILL – Male, 20s, BIPOC, gay
Despite being the oldest, is the most naïve of the trio. He is a hopeless romantic that will try anything to find love. He just wants to meet someone new to fill the void of a previous lost lover. He is also an avid K-pop enthusiast.
EMMA – Female, 20s, White or Any Race, straight
The most immature one of the trio. At times, she can be a tad lazy and a bit ditzy. She can be seen with her phone at all times and will instigate drama between Talia and Will. Yet, she will always act as a referee if anything gets too out of hand. She has a boyfriend prior to the start of the play.
CASPER – Male, 20s, Asian or BIPOC, bisexual
A handsome and friendly man who wants to move out of his parents’ house. He stirs up trouble when he finds he might be attracted to both Talia and Will. He also struggles with his sexuality and works as a barista.
