The installation performance was presented by UHM dance faculty and choreographer Kara Jhalak Miller with Jhalak Dance Company performers and UHM alums Sami L.A. Akuna, Tina Chan, Mignon Gillen, Cy Higashi, Lance Sabado, Terry Slaughter, and Katelyn Wyatt. The project is the subject of a short dance art film created by Larry Asakawa. “What is Revealed” has been three years in the works. In Honolulu, various previews and iterations have been shared at ARTZONE, the Downtown Art Center, Hawaii State Art Museum, and the KOA Theatre.
