William O’Grady keynote talk and UHM Linguists at the Japanese-Korean Linguistics Conference

Our department was well represented at the Japanese-Korean Linguistics conference at Cornell (June 13-15). Professor William O’Grady was a keynote speaker in the AI session, one of our alumni (Sungdai Cho, Binghamton University) was a conference organizer, and alumni Nozomi Tanaka and Akari Ohba of Linguistics and Haerim Hwang of SLS gave paper presentations.
