UHM students Josiah Murphy, Kelsey Bialo, Bryce Snodgrass, Michol Malia Miller, and Violet King attended CoLang 2026, the Institute on Collaborative Language Research, at the University of Nevada - Reno in June and July. Josiah (LING) and Michol (SLS) co-taught a workshop on language revitalization, and Kelsey (LING) and Violet (LING) taught workshops on language teaching. They also attended workshops, and were able to meet linguists and community members working on language projects around the world.
