UHM Library is now providing a full access to The Chronicle of Higher Education
The Chronicle is the leading trade publication on issues related to the higher education. The Chronicle is published every weekday and is the top destination for news, advice, and jobs for people in academia.
Access: https://www.chronicle.com/
Create an account: Click on the “Sign In” link on the upper right-hand side of the website next to Subscribe. On the next screen, please navigate to the “Sign Up” tab and using your UH hawaii.edu email address to create a free account that will automatically sync to the University’s institutional subscription. Activate your account by confirming your email address in the “The Chronicle: Confirm your email address” email. Once you’re signed in to your free account, visit the newsletters link to sign-up for the email newsletters that you would like to receive.
Every time you go to the Chronicle’s site, log in with your account and enjoy!

If you access the site through the Library links you will need to login to your personal account to enjoy full-access to the content on the site.
The Chronicle’s site is the best place to access current articles, but you can search the full-text archives back to 1999 via Library Databases (UH log-in required). An account will let you save and share articles, but you don’t have to create an account if you don’t want to and can continue to use our other avenues of accessing full-text articles for this publication.
