The Center for Korean Studies, University of Hawai'i at Mānoa is pleased to host: a Screening of Film, "Chosen" and Dialogue with Director Joseph Juhn.

When: February 17, 2023 at 2:00PM - 4:30PM.

Where: Center for Korean Studies Auditorium

Director Joseph Juhn is an award-winning lawyer-turned-filmmaker with passion for telling diasporic narratives. Chosen features the five Korean Americans that ran for the United States Congress in 2020.

Lieutenant Governor Sylvia Luke will join the first part of the event giving a congratulatory remark. Then screening of “Chosen” will begin, which will be followed by dialogue with Director Joseph Juhn. This event will be moderated by Professor Christopher Bae (Anthropology, UHM).

The event is open to the public free of charge, and all of you are cordially invited.
