Lucie Schrager

2024–2025 Recipient

The 2024–2025 Chancellor Virginia S. Hinshaw Scholarship in Sustainability is awarded to Lucie Schrager. Lucie is pursuing a Bachelor of Arts in Interdisciplinary Studies-Sustainablity with a minor in Art. Lucie was raised in Hawaiʻi, and has instilled in her the values of caring for and protecting native ecosystems. She believes, “Crucial to these values are the importance of education and inclusion of community; which I hope to pursue as an educator and steward. A specific interest of hers is the intersection of art and science, and how they can merge to communicate ideas of sustainability and resilience.”
