Acclaimed historian, documentary filmmaker and award-winning author, MARCUS REDIKER has written or edited ten books, including The Man-Headed Hydra (2000), Slave Ship (2007), The Amistad Rebellion (2012) and most recently, The Fearless Benjamin Lay (2017). He is an endowed chair at the University of Pittsburgh and a senior fellow at the College of etudes mondiales in Paris. Rediker will serve as the Dan and Maggie Inouye Chair for the spring 2019 semester.
