Recent developments on the COVID-19 pandemic has prompted the free Hawaiian language classes offered this semester at the University of Hawai’i at Mānoa to move online, according to ASUH.

UH President David Lassner announced on Thursday that all classes will be moved online after spring break. In-person classes are expected to resume on April 14.

Starting on March 25, the free Hawaiian language classes will be held live at its regularly schedule time–every Wednesday at 3 p.m.

Everyone will have online access to the course via KTUH’s Facebook page.

Video recordings of past sessions are available on ASUH’s website.

The remaining ‘Ōlelo Hawai‘i course dates are:

March 25, April 1, April 8, April 15, April 22, April 29 and May 6.

More updates will be provided in the upcoming weeks.
