Goddess vs. the Alphabet: Walking between 2 worlds, healing our men & growing self w/ Mehana Hind
Goddess vs. the Alphabet is about walking between the indigenous and western worlds and how we might help our men heal, and redefine what the feminine is in order to bring balance to our families and communities. Our conversation is framed by Mehanaokala Hind, former HWST/HAW student, MA in Hawaiian Studies, former HWST academic advisor who will be working at Kamehameha, a cultural practitioner, community leader and convener, and as goddess-like as you can get! She was born and raised on Oʻahu, attended Hawaiʻi Pacific University, and is currently the Knowledge Based Strategies Specialist at the Office of Hawaiian Affairs.
