  • Renewal 2020

    Are you currently living on campus and want to return for Fall 2020 and Spring 2021?
    Then our annual Renewal process is for you! Renewal is your chance to choose where you want to live and renew your housing contract for the 2020 - 2021 academic year before you leave for the summer!

    Eligibility: All current residents who are in good financial standing, must submit a housing application on our website by March 15, 2020 and pull a lottery number on March 31st thru April 3rd to be eligible to participate in the renewal process.

  • Interested in Hall or Room Transfer? (Jan 11, 2020)
    Are you interested in a hall or room transfer? The Spring 2020 open transfer period begins on Tuesday, January 21, 2020 and will continue through Tuesday, February 11, 2020.

    Simply download the form, fill out completely, then submit to the Student Housing Office located at Frear Hall beginning January 21st. NO FORMS WILL BE ACCEPTED VIA EMAIL, UH FILE DROP OR FAX. All transfer requests will be done on a first-come, first-serve basis and is based on space availability.

    All residents must fill out their own individual transfer request form. For residents wanting to transfer with another person or in a group, all completed forms must have identical requests and be submitted together.

    Should your transfer request be accommodated, you will receive a transfer confirmation to your UH email. A move date and time will be scheduled for you and your account will be adjusted accordingly. You will be responsible for paying any rent increases and meal plan charges, resulting from your transfer request.

  • Traffic Advisory - Student Housing and Dole Street (Dec 19, 2019)
    There will be road resurfacing work from the Hale Aloha Cafe to and including the Hale Wainani parking lot between December 23, 2019 and January 10, 2020. Parking stalls in the affected sections will be closed to expedite the resurfacing work. Vehicles cannot be parked in Zone 08 and 21 throughout this time; parked vehicles shall be subject to towing.

    During the closure, students and employees with Zone 08 or Zone 21 permits may park in the Zone 20 or Zone 22 parking structures. Employees with Zone 08 or Zone 21 permits may also park in Zone 18. A map is available on the Commuter Services website: http://manoa.hawaii.edu/commuter/resources/MapFiles/permitzones.pdf

    Housing moped lots by Hale Wainani, Hale Aloha-Mokihana, Hale Aloha-Lokelani, and Hale Noelani will also be closed 24/7 during this time. Alternative "all zone" moped lots are available near the pool, Ching Field, and the tennis courts.

    Additionally, on December 27, 2019 from 7 a.m. to 4 p.m., traffic on Dole Street may be subject to contraflow and temporary closures, fronting the Kamakakuokalani Hawaiian Studies Building.

    Please mind all signage, barricades, and flaggers. Those affected by these closures are encouraged to allow for additional transit time during this period.

  • Fall Roommate Information
    Roommate information is now available and can be found here. Please note that roommate information is subject to change as we are still in the process of assigning for the Academic Year. If you do not see any roommate information, you may not have a roommate yet or your roommate(s) have not authorized to release their information.

  • Mānoa Move-In 2019 (Aug 5, 2019)
    Mānoa Move-In is almost here! On behalf of the Student Housing Services staff, we are looking forward to your arrival!

    As you might imagine, campus is very busy on move-in days--nearly 3,500 students will move into the residence halls and apartments in just a few days! In order to ensure your arrival is as smooth as possible, please review the Move-In Guide for your Residence Hall or Apartment on our Move-In information page!

  • Prince Kuhio Day (March 26, 2019)
    In observance of Prince Kuhio Day, our office will be closed Tuesday, March 26, 2019.

  • Summer Housing (Mar 8, 2019)
    Are you attending classes this Summer? Join us here at Student Housing!
    Student Housing Services offers on-campus housing for students enrolled in credit courses during Summer I (May 18, 2019 - June 29, 2019), Summer II (June 29, 2019 - August 10, 2019), Summer III - Combined Sessions (May 18, 2019 - August 10, 2019), and Varied Term (non traditional Summer classes that fall between May 18, 2019 and August 10, 2019).

    Students must be registered for a minimum of one credit hour throughout any of these terms to be eligible for student housing.

  • 2019 - 2020 Academic Year RA Application is OPEN! (12/14/2018)
    • Apply for anticipated openings for the 2019-2020 Academic Year
    • Must have a 2.5 cumulative GPA
    • Must have completed 2 semesters at a college or university by time of appointment, see complete eligibility requirements on the application
    • Come to one of our Info Sessions:
      • December 4, 6pm-7pm, Lehua Lobby
      • December 7, 1pm-2pm, Frear Hall Game Room
      • January 8, 6pm-7pm, Johnson Hall A Lounge
    • Application due by midnight on January 11, 2019.
